David holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture and a Masters degree in Conservation Studies.  David has also specialised in urban planning and planning legislation in Malta and in Europe.  He is currently on the Masons Warranting Board  and represents KTP (Kamra tal-Periti) on the BICC (Building Industry Consultative Council)   Working Groups.

Prior to founding mc2architects, David worked with various local architecture firms and was responsible for a wide range of projects, from concept to completion, including project management and conservation monitoring.

David’s research in the field of urban planning includes a thesis on the ‘Changing Urban Fabric of Siggiewi’ – a typical village in Malta.  The study demonstrates a number of relationships between the urban forms and society. David is a full member of the Maltese Chamber of Architects and specialises in heritage consultancy and town planning.
